CME 2026 ASLMS 45th Annual Conference Recordings - The Power of Pairing: Combining Modalities
The course was recorded on May 8, 2026, at the ASLMS Annual Conference.
Course Description: Advances in laser surgery have expanded the range of light- and energy-based devices, yet many treatments remain siloed rather than strategically integrated. This session explores evidence-based protocols for combining modalities (e.g. lasers, light, ultrasound, radiofrequency, biostimulatory injectables, neuromodulators) to achieve synergistic improvement. Through case analysis and treatment sequencing strategies, attendees will learn how pairing technologies can enhance safety, efficacy, and patient satisfaction.
COURSE DIRECTORS: Sara Hogan, MD – Founder and Medical Director, Cosmedica Dermatology; Arisa E. Ortiz, MD – Professor of Dermatology; Director of Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology, University of California San Diego
FACULTY PANELISTS: Arisa E. Ortiz, MD – Professor of Dermatology; Director of Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology, University of California San Diego; Farah A.
